5 Ways to Jump Start Your Intuition
5 Ways To Jump Start Your Intuition
Have you ever wondered how you can develop your psychic powers? I’ve created the following exercises to help you become more aware of your intuition. Each exercise will help you enhance your skills so you can start to use your intuition in your day-to-day life.
As with any new endeavor, the more you practice, the better you’ll get. I recommend spending at least a few minutes each day playing with a combination of these exercises.
2. Test Your Gut Feelings
Working with your gut feelings is a great way to strengthen your intuitive powers. Have you ever met a person for the first time and got a feeling that you just don’t trust them? Maybe you’ve felt inspired to do something you wouldn’t normally do and it turns out to be something you love? Do you instinctively know your best friends new boyfriend is bad news? Writing down your gut feelings is a great way to enhance your psychic abilities. Write down the date of each psychic “hit” you experience and then check back each month and see how often you are right.
2. Mail Exercise
As you are driving home from work, think about the mail in your mailbox. Next, pull into your driveway, take a nice deep breath before you get out of your car, and envision opening your mailbox. See if you can get a picture of how many pieces of mail are waiting for you.
Next Level Challenge
To make this exercise more challenging, try to guess how many pieces are junk mail, bills, letters, etc.
3. Picture Exercise
Have someone give you a picture of someone you don’t know (the person
giving the picture must know the person in the picture). See what kind of information
you can pick up from looking at the picture. Write down any information you receive, such as:
- Personality type
- Hobbies
- Residence
- Occupation
- What they look like (tall, short, slim, athletic, etc)
Write Down What Comes to You
Write down anything that comes into your mind even if it doesn’t make any sense to you. After you have written your answers, give the paper to your friend and let them verify any info you got right.
4. Decision Test
The next time you have an important decision to make – whether it’s to change jobs
or make a major purchase — sit quietly for a few moments and picture yourself in the new job, sitting at your new desk, or buying your new item. How do you feel? Do you get a happy feeling or do you start to feel uncomfortable? Pay attention to how your body’s sensations. Is it tense? Does it feel light, heavy or relaxed? Write down any information you receive.
Keep a “Decisions” Journal
Write down your response to each major decision you need to make. You’ll start to see a theme develop as you are getting information. For example, you might discover that, when a decision feels right to you, you experience a tingling on the back of your neck. Perhaps if something has a negative feeling to it, you might feel a tug in your stomach. Start to develop an awareness of the signals your body gives you.
5. Universal Question Test
On a pad of paper, write the following question at the top of the page:
What is most important for me to know right now?
This question will allow your
intuitive powers to really kick in. Spend about 10-15 minutes thinking about this question and writing down any impressions you receive. If you do this exercise every night for a couple
of weeks, you will start to get some helpful information.
Have Fun
The most important thing to keep in mind when doing these exercises is to enjoy yourself. Don’t get frustrated if you don’t receive accurate information right off the bat. It takes awhile to develop these skills. Practice as often as you can. Before you know it, your psychic abilities will be helping you with every area of your life!
